Sonarr initiated the download or some guy who downloaded a ton of shitty versions of shows he already had. No, but I will get some and test that out. Yeah, I had assumed the same thing and accidentally overwrote a couple "good" files when I was testing it.Īre these manually downloaded episodes still in your download client? it doesn't matter if Sonarr initiated the download or some guy who downloaded a ton of shitty versions of shows he already had. But if what you say is true, I'm wrong.Īre these manually downloaded episodes still in your download client? Could you just adjust their label (and maybe finish path) and see if it works? Sonarr really just parses everything with the matching label every whatever minutes, so as long as the label is there. My assumption until I read your post is that it would not replace the high quality version with your new shitty quality version. I can't say I personally know what would happen if you pointed the manual importer at a shitty avi and it was a version you had an awesome mkv of. For best results, you should put quality in your filenames since it can never really be correctly guessed. It makes some assumptions based on file type, but little more. Is your existing stuff marked with the correct quality? Sonarr only knows the quality for things it downloaded and/or things with the quality still in their file name. Is there a configurable blackhole in there it will watch? (Going to look at that now.) They were good suggestions and now I am curious if it may be possible to bypass this by setting something in torrents. Sorry, forgot to thank you for the suggestions. They are definitely set up correctly and work just fine for Sonarr-initiated downloads. "Make sure your qualities are set up correctly so that lower qualities aren't preferred to higher." However, it's painstaking to go through 10 seasons of "what you want to import" and "what you currently have" to determine which should/should not be imported. I have done that, it pretty much gives you "God" mode and just accepts that you know what's best. "If it misses it, go to Wanted > Manual Import, and you can import the files manually." It's on, but, if I manually download it with Sabnzbd (not using torrents), it ignores whatever shows up in the completed folder because there is no "configurable" completed folder it looks where Sabnzbd says it saved it and doesn't do anything unless Sabnzbd says to.
